1877 1c Indian Head Cent NGC VG 8 Very Good Key Date Strong Rims Original Cert#7014

An attractive 1877 key date Indian head cent graded VG 8 by NGC. It carries nice full rims throughout both sides with a very attractive chocolate brown patina. A very appealing coin that has earned it's grade from NGC. The 1877 key date Indian head cent carries a mintage of 852,500. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 5,000 of these have survived in all grade! At the time of this listing, NGC is showing that they have only certified 538 of these to be in VG 8 BN condition such as this one.
