An original 1877 key date Indian head cent graded G 4 by NGC This key date coin carries decent rims throughout both sides with very attractive chocolate brown original surfaces. A very tough coin for us to hold lately as it has been in strong demand among collectors. It looks slightly better than the deemed grade by NGC in our recommendation. The 1877 key date Indian head cent carries a mintage of 852,500. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 5,000 of these have survived in all grade! This coin is one of only 652 graded Good 4 by NGC.
