A very attractive 1877 key date Indian head cent graded AU 58 BN by NGC. This key date coin carries an exceptionally strong struck liberty on the obverse with great details on the reverse. It holds attractive chocolate brown original surfaces with some slight light toning on the reverse. A tougher key date to find in this grade level by NGC. The 1877 key date Indian head cent carries a mintage of 852,500. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 5,000 of these have survived in all grade! At the time of this listing, NGC has certified only 90 of these in AU 58 BN condition such as this one.
