A tough 1877 key date Indian Head Cent graded VG 8 by PCGS. It holds strong rims throughout both sides for the grade with a nice light chocolate brown patina. This key date coin has been in very strong demand lately among collectors and has been much harder to find lately than in recent years. It has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder.
The 1877 key date Indian Head Cent carries a mintage of 852,500. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 5,000 of these have survived in all grade! It is one of only 543 graded Very Good 8 by PCGS.
