1877 1C Indian Head Cent PCGS G 4 Good Chocolate Brown Original Key Date !

A tough 1877 key date Indian Head Cent graded G 4 by PCGS. It holds strong rims throughout both sides for the grade with a perfect chocolate brown patina. The photos give it a 'yellow hue' but it's really a perfect chocolate brown coin. This key date coin has been in very strong demand lately among collectors and has been much harder to find lately than in recent years. The white marks you see are from contact marks on the holder and are Not on the coin. The 1877 key date Indian Head Cent carries a mintage of 852,500. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 5,000 of these have survived in all grade! It is one of only 733 graded Good 4 by PCGS.
