1877 1C Indian Head Cent PCGS F 15 Fine to Very Fine Key Date Strong Looks VF !

An attractvie 1877 key date Indian head cent graded F 15 by PCGS. This key date coin carries a most of the liberty on the obverse with exceptional details for the grade. It holds a decent strike throughout both sides with attractive chocolate brown surfaces. This coin looks much nicer than some very fine graded examples we have seen. The 1877 key date Indian head cent carries a mintage of 852,500. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 5,000 of these have survived in all grade! At the time of this listing, PCGS is showing that they have only certified 290 of these to be in Fine 15 condition.
