A tough 1877 key date Indian Head Cent graded VF 35 by NGC. This key date coin has been tough to find in this mid-grade level. It holds a strong liberty with perfect chocolate brown original surfaces. A very appealing coin for the grade that has been housed in a newer style NGC holder.
The 1877 key date Indian Head Cent carries a mintage of 852,500. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 5,000 of these have survived in all grades! It is one of only 575 graded to be in 'Very Fine' condition by NGC.
