An absolutely stunning 1876 S trade dollar graded MS 64 by PCGS. We would say this coin is the nicest looking trade dollar we have ever offered! It holds a superior quality strike and is extremely lustrous throughout both sides with an appealing golden patina. The close-up photos provided give an accurate representation of how this stunning coin looks in person. Although this is a common date to the trade dollar series, they are not easy to find in this grade having been certified by PCGS. We believe this coin could easily grade a touch higher with PCGS due to it being on the top tier of quality. It has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder. This San Francisco Mint date holds a total mintage of only 5,227,000. The PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 3,500 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 109 graded Mint State 64 by PCGS.
