1875 S 20c Twenty Cent Piece NGC XF 40 Extra Fine Original Toned US Type

An attractive 1875 S twenty cent piece graded XF 40 by NGC. It carries a fully readable liberty on the obverse with excellent feather details on the reverse. It carries very crusty original toned surfaces throughout both sides. A very attractive coin for the grade. This San Francisco Mint coin is the most common for the twenty cent piece series making it perfect for a US Type Collector. It holds a mintage of 1,155,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 25,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 168 graded Extra Fine 40 by NGC.
