A stunning 1875 S common date trade dollar graded AU 58 by PCGS. It holds a fantastic strike throughout both sides with mostly white surfaces with just a light touch of toning as shown in the photos provided. It has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder. The trade dollar series has been in strong demand among collectors lately and have been harder for us to find for inventory.
This San Francisco Mint date holds at total mintage of 4,487,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 5,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 272 graded About Uncirculated 58 by PCGS.
