1875 CC 20c Twenty Cent Piece NGC MS 63 Uncirculated Carson City Mint Toned

An 1875 CC twenty cent piece graded MS 63 by NGC. This Carson City Mint coin is tougher to find in this Mint State 63 grade level. It carries a typical strike throughout both sides with some attractive original purple toning that matches evenly throughout both the obverse and reverse. We believe this to be the highest graded Carson City Mint twenty cent piece we have ever offered. The photos would have turned out nicer but this coin could use a new NGC holder. This Carson City Mint date holds a low mintage of 133,290. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 6,500 have survived in all grades today. This coin is one of only 59 graded Mint State 63 by NGC.
