1875 1C Indian Head Cent NGC AU 55 About Uncirculated Better Date Die Crack Reverse

An 1875 better date Indian head cent graded AU 55 by NGC. It holds a nice strike throughout both sides with very attractive chocolate brown original surfaces. This coin holds a neat die crack on the right side of the reverse near the rim. This better date coin has a large mintage of 13,528,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 4,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 47 graded About Uncirculated 55 by NGC.
