1873 50C BG-915 California Fractional Gold Piece PCGS MS 63 Uncirculated Attractive

A beautiful 1873 California Fractional Gold half dollar graded MS 63 by PCGS. PCGS has notated this particular fractional gold piece to be the BG-915 variety. These are always interesting for us to offer in inventory as we seldom come across these in large quantities. A neat coin that is shaped as a hexagon as shown in the photos provided. We are uncertain the mintage of this particular coin but PCGS estimates that only 175 have survived today. This coin is one of only 36 graded Mint State 63 by PCGS.
