An attractive 1872 S seated liberty half dime graded MS 62 by NGC. It carries a decent strike throughout both sides with crusty original toned surfaces. This coin is the 'Mint-mark Above Bow' style on the reverse. A slightly tougher date to find in this grade level.
This San Francisco Mint date holds a lower mintage of only 837,000. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 1,000 have survived in all grades today. This coin is one of only 23 graded Mint State 62 by NGC.
