An 1872 key date two cent piece graded VF 20 by ANACS. It holds string details for the grade with part of the 'We' visible on the motto. The shield has the nearly all of the lines going across and it has very attractive chocolate brown original surfaces. A tougher key date to find in this very fine grade level. This key date coin holds a small mintage of only 65,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 2,000 have survived in all grades today.
