An 1871 better date two cent piece graded MS 65+ BN by PCGS. This attractive coin carries a strong strike throughout both sides with attractive original surfaces. Although it has been designated as a brown coin, it has a good deal of red still remaining throughout both sides as shown in the photos provided. This appealing coin has been approved by CAC for quality. At the time of this listing, the PCGS population report shows that this coin is one of only two graded MS-65+ BN by PCGS with only three coins showing graded higher that are designated as brown examples from PCGS. This date is very seldom ever offer in this condition or higher.
