A tough 1869/69 Indian head cent graded VG 8 by PCGS. Although we guarantee this coin to be the 1869/69 variety, it has not been designated on the PCGS label. This coin has one of the strongest over-dates we have ever seen on a lower graded example of the 1869/69 Indian head cent. It has full rims with an appealing chocolate brown patina. This better date coin has a total mintage of 6,420,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that less than 8,000 have survived for this variety.
