1869/69 1C Indian Head Cent PCGS G 4 Good RPD FS-301 S-3 Repunched Date

A tough 1869/69 Indian head cent graded G 4 by PCGS. It carries a nice original patina with a very strong over-date for only a Good 4 graded example. This variety has been very hard to find lately certified and in an affordable grade level such as this one. PCGS has notated this one to be the RPD FS-301 S-3 (008.3) variety on their label. This date holds a huge mintage of 6,420,000. However, it is expected that a very tiny percentage of this mintage still exist today and is the 1869/69 variety. This coin is one of only 24 graded Good 4 to be certified by PCGS as this particular variety.
