1869 50C Seated Liberty Half Dollar PCGS XF 45 Better Date Original Toned !

An attractive 1869 better date seated liberty half dollar graded XF 45 by PCGS. It carries the perfect amount of detail for the grade with crusty original toned surfaces. The obverse and reverse hold a very appealing dark blue and purple tone most notably around the rims when this coin is being tilted in the light. A tougher date to come by in this grade level. The photos unfortunately do not give this coin justice for how nice it looks in person. This Philadelphia Mint date holds a total mintage of 795,300. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 1,200 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 65 graded Extra Fine 45 by PCGS.
