1869 50C Liberty Seated Half Dollar PCGS PR 63 Proof Purple Toned Beauty

A uniquely toned 1869 proof seated liberty half dollar graded PR-63 by PCGS. This coin carries a very unique purple toning that covers both sides entirely. It looks darker when looking straight onto the coin but when tilted in the light it has the toning shown in the PCGS Secure Photos provided. This proof issue coin holds a tiny mintage of only 600 of which PCGS estimates that only 570 have survived. It is one of just 52 graded Proof 63 by PCGS.
