An absolutely beautiful 1865 proof two cent piece. This coin has a low mintage of only 600+. It looks mostly red on the reverse and has a lot of red on the obverse as well. We were very surprised that PCGS graded this coin only a 'brown' coin when it has so much red luster left on both sides. This coin also has some attractive toning on both sides.
