1868 2c Two Cent Piece NGC MS 65 RB Uncirculated Red Brown Better Date Old Holder
An original 1868 slightly better date two cent piece graded MS 65 RB by NGC. It holds a very strong strike with attractive red and brown surfaces that match evenly among both sides. This date is common to find in lower grades but becomes much harder to find in this grade or finer condition. It has been housed in an old time NGC holder. This Philadelphia Mint coin holds a large mintage of 2,803,750. However, of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 1,200 have survived with red and brown surfaces such as this one. It is one of just 76 graded Mint State 65 Red Brown by NGC.
