1866 S 10c Seated Liberty Dime NGC VF 30 Very Fine to Extra Fine Key Date "Ghost S"

An 1866 S key date seated liberty dime graded VF 30 by NGC. It holds a sharp strike on the obverse with a very clearly defined 'Liberty' on the shield. The reverse holds strong details but the 'S' mint-mark is what we would call a 'Ghost S' as it is barely visible as shown in the photos provided. A tough date to find in this mid-grade level. This San Francisco Mint date holds a total mintage of 135,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 250 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only seven graded to be in 'Very Fine' condition by NGC.
