1866 2C Two Cent Piece PCGS MS 64 BN Uncirculated Brown Old Rattler Holder !

A very attractive 1866 Two Cent Piece graded MS 64 BN by PCGS. It carries a great strike throughout both sides with very mark free surfaces that hold a very appealing chocolate brown patina. This nice coin has been housed in a PCGS 'Rattler Holder'. A coin that you seldom come across in these old time holders. This date is very common to the series with a high mintage of 3,177,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 5,000 have survived in all grades today. This coin is one of only 59 graded Mint State 64 Brown by PCGS.
