A very attractive 1865 Fancy 5, Indian head cent graded AU 58 by NGC. This better date coin carries a nice full strike among both sides with attractive chocolate brown original surfaces. A tougher date to find this date stored in by NGC.
This date holds a massive mintage of 35,429,286. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 4,000 of these have survived in all grades today for the Fancy 5 variety. It is one of only 76 graded About Uncirculated 58 by NGC.
