A tough 1865 seated liberty half dollar graded XF 40 by pCGS. It carries a full readable liberty with very attractive original toned surfaces. The obverse holds a darker original tone while the reverse holds a lighter style tone.
Although this coin carries a mintage of 511,900, the PCGS coin facts estimates that only 600 of these still exist today in all grades. At the time of this listing this coin is one of only 22 that are currently graded XF 40 by PCGS.
