1865 2C Two Cent Piece PCGS MS 64 BN Uncirculated Brown Original Nice !

A very attractive 1865 two cent piece graded MS 64 BN by PCGS. It carries a great strike throughout both sides with very mark free surfaces that hold a very appealing chocolate brown patina. This coin is the 'Plain 5' style even though this has not been notated by PCGS. A very appealing example that has earned it's grade. This date is very common to the series with a high mintage of 13,640,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 10,000 have survived in all grades today. This coin is one of only 301 graded Mint State 64 Brown by PCGS.
