1864 2c Small Motto Two Cent Piece NGC XF 45 Extra Fine to AU Full WE In Motto

A tough 1864 small motto, two cent piece graded XF 45 by NGC. This coin carries a great strike throughout both sides with very attractive chocolate brown original surfaces. It has a strong and fully readable 'WE' on the obverse which is tough to find even in these mid-grade levels. A very hard to come by coin in such a decent grade with attractive original surfaces. The PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 10,000 of these have survived that are the 'small motto' variety such as this coin.
