A beautiful 1864 proof seated liberty quarter graded PR 64 by PCGS. This civil war era proof seated liberty quarter holds a mintage of only 470! When tilted in the light it shows very pronounced purple toning as shown in the photos provided. However, if you look straight onto the coin it looks more dull as shown in our other photos provided.
A tough proof date with a mintage of only 470. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 400 exist in all grades today. This coin is currently one of only 59 coins in this PR 64 grade by PCGS.
