1864 1C L On Ribbon Indian Head Cent NGC AU 58 BN About Uncirculated

An 1864 L on Ribbon, Indian head cent graded AU 58 BN by NGC. It carries a nice sharp strike throughout both sides with an attractive chocolate brown patina. You can very clearly see the 'L' on the ribbon of the obverse as shown in the close-up photo provided. This date holds a huge mintage of 39,233,714. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 3,000 have survived that are with the 'L on Ribbon' style. This coin is one of only 160 graded About Uncirculated Brown by NGC.
