A very sharply struck 1864 copper-nickel Indian head cent graded MS 63 by PCGS. It holds an exceptional strike for this coin as most have a weaker quality strike. It also has some attractive original toning that carries on throughout both sides. A very popular coin among U.S type collectors and Indian head cent collectors. This Philadelphia Mint date holds a total mintage of 13,740,000. However, of this massive mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 6,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of 584 graded Mint State 63 by PCGS.
