A very attractive 1864 bronze, Indian head cent graded MS 63 RB by PCGS. It carries a nice sharp strike with nice red and brown surfaces. A slightly tougher grade level to find this date stored in by PCGS. This coin looks closer to the photos provided by us than the first PCGS photo shown in this listing. We believe our close-up photos show more accurately how much red it carries throughout both sides. A perfect coin for a nice U.S type set or Indian head cent collection. This Philadelphia Mint date holds a huge mintage of 39,233,714. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 1,200 have survived with red brown surfaces such as this one. This coin is one of only 185 graded Mint State 63 Red Brown by PCGS.
