1862 3CS Three Cent Silver Piece Type 3 NGC MS 65 Uncirculated Civil War Date
A beautiful 1862 three cent silver piece graded MS 65 by NGC. It holds a decent strike with a slightly weakly struck date. It has a very appealing light golden hue that matches evenly among both sides. A neat Civil War date coin that is seldom offered in this condition. It has been housed in a slightly older style NGC holder. This civil war date has a total mintage of only 343,000. Of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 10,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 221 graded Mint State 65 by PCGS.
