1862 Seated Half Dime H10C NGC MS 66 Uncirculated Civil War Date Toned Pretty !

A very attractive 1862 Civil War Date, Seated Liberty Half Dime graded MS 66 by NGC. This coin carries some dramatic die clashing throughout the obverse and reverse with attractive light green, yellow, and maroon toning throughout both sides. A tougher Civil War Date to find in this high grade level. This date is fairly common to the series with a large mintage of 1,492,000. However, of this huge mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only a tiny fraction of this number (3,000) have survived in all grades today. This beautiful example is one of the finer ones to remain with only 47 graded Mint State 66 by NGC.
