An 1861 slightly better date Seated Liberty Half Dime graded MS 63 by NGC. It holds a great strike with what looks like pink hued toning among both sides. Unfortunately, our photos did not do well at capturing the attractive toning pattern. This coin has been housed in an older style NGC Fatty Holder. A tougher Civil War date to find in this grade level.
This coin holds a mintage of 1,660,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 3,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 115 graded Mint State 63 by NGC.
