1861 O 50C CSA Obverse Seated Liberty Half Dollar PCGS VF 25 Very Fine Looks Better !

A very attractive 1861 O CSA Obverse, seated liberty half dollar graded VF 25 by PCGS. This coin has been noted by PCGS to tbe the CSA Obverse variety. It carries great detail for the grade with very crusty original toned surfaces throughout both sides. This coin looks nicer than many VF 35 graded seated liberty half dollar we have seen available on the market. We believe it should have definitively end up in a higher graded holder from PCGS. It has been housed in a PCGS secure label holder. This New Orleans Mint date carries a large mintage of 2,532,633. However, of this large mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 50 of these have survived that are the CSA Obverse variety. This coin is one of only 25 graded Very Fine 25 by PCGS.
