1861 3CS Three Cent Silver PCGS MS 65 Uncirculated CAC Approved OGH Old Holder

A beautiful 1861 three cent silver piece graded MS 65 by PCGS. It carries a very nice strike throughout both sides with attractive crusty original toned surfaces. A very popular date being minted during the Civil War Time Period. It has been housed in an Old Green Label PCGS Holder. It has also been approved by CAC for quality. This Civil War date holds a total mintage of 497,000. Of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 7,500 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 22 approved by CAC in this grade level.
