1861 10C Seated Liberty Dime PCGS PR 63 Proof Toned Original Low Mintage

An attractive 1861 proof seated liberty dime graded PR 63 by PCGS. It carries a superior proof quality strike with some attractive toning throughout both sides. We believe the first photo provided from PCGS has exaggerated the toning to some degree. We believe our close-up photos provide a more accurate assessment of how this coin looks in person. This coin has been stored in a PCGS secure label holder. This date holds a very low proof mintage of only 1,000. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 400 have survived today. This coin is one of only 31 graded Proof 63 by PCGS.
