A beautiful 1860 proof seated liberty half dollar graded PR 63 by PCGS. It carries an exceptional proof quality strike throughout both sides with a light hue of toning throughout both the obverse and reverse. It looks like this coin holds a light cameo throughout both the obverse and reverse but it has not earned the cameo designation from PCGS. A very attractive low mintage proof coin that has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder. We would say the toning is accurately shown between the range of toning of our photos and the ones provided by PCGS. This Philadelphia Mint date holds a tiny mintage of only 1,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 350 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 48 graded Proof 63 by PCGS.
