A very tough 1858 proof three cent silver piece graded PR 63 by PCGS. This proof date is very seldom offered in any grade level. It holds very mark free surfaces for only a PR 63 grade with some attractive golden colored toning throughout both sides. This coin carries a mintage of only 200. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 80 of these still exist today in all grade levels. At the time of this listing, the PCGS population report is showing only 18 coins in this PR 63 grade. The photos do not give this coin justice on how attractive it is in hand.
