A superior quality 1857 Liberty Seated Dollar graded MS-64* by NGC. This coin is one of the most attractive Seated Liberty Dollars we have seen in all of our years in the business. It has deep rich colorful toning on both sides but most notably the obverse. It has stunning toned rims on the obverse with deep rich colors of dark blue and green.
This coin is the second highest graded example by NGC only following a single MS-64+ grade. This particular coin has also been deemed the star designation due to its' superior eye appeal. On the NGC label, this coin is noted as having came from the 'La Jolla Collection'. Just an exceptional piece that is perfect for the serious Seated Liberty Dollar collector or monster toning collector.
A very reasonably priced example considering the last MS-64 CAC example by PCGS just sold for over $34,000 and was not close to as attractive as this example.
