1856 S Liberty Double Eagle $20 Gold NGC Extra Fine XF Details Mint Error

An 1856 S better date $20 double eagle gold piece graded XF details by NGC. This coin has sharp details on both sides with a lot of original mint luster remaining for only an extra fine grade. I'm not sure why but NGC placed this coin in a 'details' holder even though the obverse planchet flaw is a mint error by the United States Mint. Since this coin was made witht he planchet flaw it should have been certified problem free. The detail of this coin looks much nicer than only the deemed grade.
