1854 O 50C Seated Liberty Half Dollar PCGS XF 45 Extra Fine to About Uncirculated !

A very sharply detailed 1854 O seated liberty half dollar graded XF 45 by PCGS. It holds a very sharp strike with a good deal of luster remaining throughout both sides. We suspect this coin is potentially a better variety as it has a lot of re-punching on the date and the stars look doubled. However, we are selling it as a common coin for a U.S type collection or seated liberty half dollar set. This New Orleans Date holds a total mintage of 5,240,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 5,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 152 graded Extra Fine 45 by PCGS.
