1853 1/2C Braided Hair Half Cent PCGS MS 64 BN Uncirculated CAC Approved

An 1853 braided hair half cent graded MS 64 BN by PCGS. It carries an excellent strike throughout both sides with very attractive chocolate brown original surfaces. This attractive coin has been approved by CAC for quality. A tougher U.S type coin to find in this grade level. This date holds a low mintage of only 129,694. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 3,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 179 graded Mint State 64 Brown by PCGS. This coin is also one of only 39 approved by CAC in this grade level.
