An 1852 three cent silver piece graded MS 61 by NGC. It carries a sharp strike with blast white surfaces throughout both sides. This coin has a neat 'strike through' on the reverse as the outline of the star from the obverse is showing through. This is a perfect coin for a nice U.S type or three cent silver collection. The 1852 three cent silver piece holds a high mintage of 18,663,500. Of this extreme mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 35,000 have survived today! This example is one of only 52 coins graded Mint State 61 by NGC.
