1852 1C Braided Hair Large Cent NGC MS 64 RB Uncirculated Old Fatty OH

An attractive 1852 braided hair large cent graded MS 64 RB by NGC. It carries a great strike throughout both sides with appealing red and brown surfaces. This appealing coin has been housed in an older style 'NGC Fatty' holder that is in near pristine condition. This date is among the most common to the series with a huge mintage of 5,063,094. However, of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Fact estimates that only 1,000 have survived in all grades today in red brown condition such as this one. This coin is one of only 73 graded Mint State 64 Red Brown by NGC.
