This 1847 braided hair large cent was originally in our inventory raw at a higher grade. We believe PCGS was very conservative when grading this piece. It has a superior strike on both sides with some attractive original mint luster left. What makes this coin so desirable is not only the condition but the completely original toning on both sides. Just a superior coin for the grade.
