An absolutely stunning 1846 O better date seated liberty half dollar graded AU 58 by PCGS. It carries a beyond exceptional strike with blast white and extremely lustrous surfaces. This is probably the nicest looking seated liberty half dollar we have ever offered in this grade level. It also looks slightly proof-like throughout both the obverse and reverse. It has been approved by CAC for quality. This New Orleans Mint date holds a total mintage of 2,304,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 600 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 13 graded About Uncirculated 58 by PCGS. it is also one of only three approved by CAC in this grade level.
