1840 (O) Medium Letters Seated Liberty Half Dollar - No Motto NGC VG 10

This 1840 (O) liberty seated half dollar is the rare 'medium letters' variety. This coin was minted at the New Orleans mint but does not bear the mint-mark associated with the New Orleans mint because they used the reverse dies on this coin of the reeded edge capped bust half dollar. It has strong very good to find details on both sides with an appealing original tone.
