A tough 1840 with drapery, Seated Liberty Dime graded AU 58 by NGC. It holds a sharp strike throughout both sides with a vey light patina that matches throughout the obverse and reverse. This coin is by far the highest graded example we believe we have ever seen for the 'with drapery' style such as this one.
This Philadelphia Mint date has a total mintage of 377,500. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 200 of these have survived in all grades today! It is one of only two graded About Uncirculated 58 by NGC!
